Inside the NBA - Rick Adelmen vs. Phil Jackson

I was conversing with Ellie at the end of the Lakers 89-79 Game 7 victory last night over the Rockets. I had was explaining to her how Rick Adelmen always seemed to lose to Phil Jackson. I remembered about the battles both coaches would have when Adelmen was the head coach of the Sacramento Kings and Jackson was head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. At that time both teams were powerhouses but the Lakers always steamrolled past the Kings. I was completely oblivious to the fact that Adelmen was the head coach of the Portland Trailblazer team that lost to Jackson's Chicago Bulls in the 1992 NBA Finals, back in the Michael Jordan era.
