Ryan Leslie - Transition

After only 9 months of debuting as a solo artist with the hot (classic in my opinion) self-titled album.  Ryan Leslie has done it again with his sophomore album Transition.  The album consist of eleven cuts and is great follow-up/companion to Leslie's debut album.  My favorite tracks on the album aside from the lead single "You're Not My Girl" are Something That I Like feat. Pusha T of Clipse, All My Love, Guardian Angel, I Choose You, Nothin' and Sunday Night.

I am watching Anderson Cooper 360 on CNN and this was one of the topics.  Man I am truly glad that I do not get smashed anymore.  You never know what can happen at any given moment when you are not in control of your faculties.

Jay-Z feat. Alicia Keys - Empire State of Mind

I love New York don't get me wrong I am Jersey all the way but I love the Big Apple.  Jay-Z's song and this video represents the city well, they even made Alicia Keys piano a representation of the Empire State.  Jay-Z has proven New York to be so great that his songs have been the structure for many baseball songs about the New York Yankees and their rivals the Philadelphia Phillies.
